Admin & Incomes Officer

Salary: £20,371-£22,729 per annum

The principal responsibility of the Admin & Incomes Officer is to undertake a range of office management, financial record keeping and administrative duties in support of the main functions of the association in providing housing and other services for single people.

The Admin & Incomes Officer will be responsible for the proper flow of office procedures while ensuring all staff have adequate support to work efficiently. The Admin & Incomes Officer will provide administrative support while maintaining a positive and friendly company image by acting as the first line of contact to tenants, contractors and other customers in person, online, and via telephone.

Qualified candidates will have impeccable verbal and written communication skills, a strong ability to multi-task and a friendly manner.

Voluntary Management Committee Members

We are looking for new members to contribute to the growth of the organisation and strengthen our existing small but active committee. Quarterly meetings are held in North London on weekday evenings. There will also be an opportunity to join our sub-committes which include Finance, Fundraising & Staff Recruitment. We also have an annual Strategy Day where members have a real opportunity to influence the policies and direction of the organisation.

We are looking for knowledge and experience of any of the following: housing, homelessness, finance, fundraising, development. Most of our meetings are held in Kings Cross.

Causeway Social Enterprise volunteer: Carpenter/ Furniture Restorer

Causeway are looking for volunteers with experience or an interest in Carpentry who would like to contribute to our new Social Enterprise. We aim to deliver/sell low cost restored furniture to both tenants and the local community. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who would like experience working at a Housing Association and developing a starter business with tenants and staff. Causeway will provide training in Furniture Restoration to volunteers who are committed to the project.
Travel and lunch expenses will be provided.
