about us

Founded in 1986, we are a specialist housing association and Community Benefit Society providing homes, a community and support for single homeless people in London. People can access our services regardless of where they come from. We are also immensely proud to be the largest provider of LGBT supported housing in the UK.

We were originally founded with just two houses, to provide low-cost shared housing to young Irish people seeking work in London. We now offer low-cost housing to all single people, at risk of homelessness in London. We also provide specialist supported housing services for unaccompanied asylum-seeking young people, people who identify as LGBTQ and people with support needs.

We are ambitious for people. We work hard to encourage people to develop aspirations for their future. Our approach is asset based, building on people’s skills and strengths, as a basis to achieve their ambitions and improve and progress in life.

We know that people faced with homelessness, or experiencing trauma, often suffer from isolation, mental health problems, or addictions. We know that working with people to understand their goals, and then helping them to achieve goals is the best way to overcome issues that led them to homelessness in the first place.
